About

We've spent more than a decade figuring out what actually makes marketing work.

3D Marketing is a Vancouver agency built around one question: did this produce customers? Everything else — the brand, the ads, the content, the follow-up — is in service of answering yes.

The story

Ten years of what works, and what doesn't.

We started out doing what most agencies do: generating leads and reporting on them. It didn’t take long to notice the pattern. The businesses that grew weren’t the ones with the most leads. They were the ones who did something reliable with the leads they had.

So the work changed shape. Branding to earn attention. Paid ads and SEO to convert it. Pipeline marketing to make sure nothing goes cold. Referrals to compound what’s already been earned. Five disciplines, run as one system, because that’s the only way the numbers hold up over time.

Ten-plus years in, that’s still the whole idea. We know which levers move fast, which ones compound, and which ones are usually a waste of money. That’s why we can generate leads at roughly a third of what other agencies charge — not because we cut corners, but because we’ve already paid for the mistakes.

What we believe

Five principles we don't negotiate on.

01

Marketing should be measurable.

If a channel can’t be tied to leads, cost, and revenue, it’s a hobby. Everything we run has a number attached to it before it launches.

02

Leads are only valuable if they become customers.

Volume is the easiest metric to inflate. What matters is how many of those leads a business can actually close.

03

Good creative needs good strategy.

Great ads for the wrong offer still lose money. Positioning comes first, then the work that carries it.

04

You shouldn't need to waste money to discover what works.

A decade of campaigns is a library of what already failed. Clients shouldn’t have to pay that tuition twice.

05

The best marketing feels obvious in hindsight.

If the plan needs a twenty-slide explanation, it isn’t clear enough yet.

Experience

What a decade taught us

Then

Channels change. Buying behaviour doesn't.

Platforms have come and gone across the last decade. The sequence a customer moves through — attention, trust, consideration, decision — has not.

Then

Most marketing problems are follow-up problems.

Again and again, the biggest gain wasn’t more traffic. It was doing something useful with the leads a business already had.

Now

Cheap leads come from precision, not luck.

Generating leads at roughly a third of what other agencies charge isn’t a discount. It’s narrower targeting, better offers, and killing what doesn’t convert early.

Now

Accountability is the whole product.

Reporting on clicks is easy. Reporting on cost per customer is the reason clients stay.

Vancouver

Based downtown. Working with businesses anywhere.

Our office is on Beatty Street in downtown Vancouver. Being local matters for the clients who want to sit across a table, and matters not at all for the ones who’d rather do everything on a call. Both work.
